There are two parts to this exercise, both examples of using Taguchi.

Objectives

There are three learning outcomes of this exercise:

• Familiarisation with using orthogonal arrays

• Knowing how to carry out calculations using the Taguchi method

• Application of the Taguchi method to practical problems
