View from Arthur's Seat towards the Pentland Hills. Towards the lower-right can be seen parts of Pollock Halls, the main student Halls of Residence for The University of Edinburgh. Just next-door to Pollock is the Royal Commonwealth Swimming Pool, a full, Olympic-sized swimming pool complex and sports centre. Towards the left-middle can be seen a couple of tower blocks. These are in the King's Buildings site, about 1.5km from Pollock.
Edinburgh has many golfcourses and two are in this picture. In the foreground is the golfcourse beside Pollock Halls and in the background you can just see the course behind King's Buildings.
