------ ARAKAS ------ (Fresh Green Peas in Tomato Sauce) Ingredients 1 kg peas 250 gr. tomatoes, finely sliced 1 large onion, thinly sliced 150 ml water salt 150 ml olive oil 6 teaspoons fresh dill, chopped o Shell the peas, if needed. o Rinse them in cold water and drain. o Sautee the onions in the olive oil. o Add the tomatoes, peas, salt and the dill. o Add the water and bring to a boil. o Stir, cover and cook slowly for about 50 minutes.
