Courses in Engineering and Electronics

We offer a large range of courses, grouped into four main disciplines:

Chemical Engineering

  • Concerned with production processes used in the chemical and manufacturing industries

Civil and Environmental Engineering

  • Working with the design of large-scale structures and systems and their interaction with the environment

Electronics

  • Covering the application of electronics from the National Grid down to microelectronic devices

Mechanical Engineering

  • Design and construction of mechanical devices and structures

General Engineering

Additionally, there is a route to apply for a general Engineering course that allows the student to defer making a choice between the four disciplines until half way through the first year of study. This is the course Engineering (BEng) (H100)
