BEng in Electronics and Electrical Engineering (Communications)

The Electronics and Electrical Engineering (Communications) is a specialised course similar in structure to the general degree. To ensure that the later specialisation is set in context, a broad spectrum of material is covered in the first three years and it is in the fourth and final year that you will specialise in communications. The intention is to prepare new graduates for the communications industry while not closing any doors on the wider electrical, electronics and information technology sectors.

The BEng and MEng degree courses in Electronics have a common structure in the early years with the core subjects of Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering. In the later years of the course specialist subjects are taught including Analogue and Digital Communications, Signal Processing and Radio Frequency Engineering to name but a few.

Full details, including typical entrance requirements, can be found in the course flyer.
