BEng/MEng in Chemical Engineering with Management

The aim of these degrees is to equip students with the necessary skills to be competent chemical engineers, but with sufficient expertise in management to progress rapidly into management positions in the process industries. The degree programme involves additional management training in the 2nd, 4th and, for MEng, the 5th years of the course.

The BEng and MEng degree courses in Chemical Engineering have a common structure in the early years with the core subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Management Techniques. In the later years of the course specialist subjects are taught including Operations Management, Applications of Project Management and Management Strategy. In addition, there is project work on a management-related topic.

Full details, including typical entrance requirements, can be found in the course flyer.
