BEng/MEng in Chemical Engineering with Environmental Engineering
The aim of these degrees is to equip students with the necessary skills
to be competent chemical engineers and to have particular expertise in
environmental matters relating to engineering, such as water treatment,
land contamination and air pollution. The degree programme involves
additional environmental engineering training in the 4th and, for MEng,
the 5th years of the course.
The BEng and MEng degree courses in Chemical Engineering have a
common structure
in the early years with the core subjects of Mathematics,
Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. In the later years of the course specialist
subjects are taught including Contaminated Land, Water Quality
Modelling, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Water Resources Engineering
and Air Pollution.
Full details, including typical entrance requirements, can be found in the
course flyer.
