In collaboration with others the IMNS has used a variety
of silicon etching techniques to produce a micromachined
microheamorheometer for the inspection of individual red blood cells.
The initial investigation, funded by a 'pump-priming' grant,
expanded into a DTI funded LINK project in collaboration with
industry.
