Applications

Applications for the 2011/12 session should be submitted between the beginning of October 2010 and the end of June 2011. The course is very popular, with 50 students enrolled from September 2010. To ensure your application is considered please apply well before June 2011.

The online system requires you to fill in appropriate information online as well as upload important documents. Further details on what information is required can be requested from the MSc Admissions Co-ordinator, Sharon Mulvey, by email at pgtaught@see.ed.ac.uk.

English

Applicants whose first language is not English must satisfy the University that you their fluency is sufficient to work effectively. It is necessary to provide documentary evidence of current English language capability and the IELTS certificate, which can be obtained from your local office of the British Council, is generally the most appropriate. A degree from an English-speaking University may be accepted in some circumstances. The minimum test scores required by are:

  • IELTS 6.5
  • TOEFL 580
  • TOEFL 237 in CBT
  • CPE Grade B or higher
  • CAE grade A
