This work considered the effect of possible dispensations from Transmission Network Use of System (TNUoS) charges for the north of Scotland. Our role involved modelling evolving TNUoS charges while our partners SEEF, Garrad Hassan, ICF Consulting and University of Cambridge did economic modelling. This work examined the potential for connecting renewable energy to the Sri Lankan electrical network. It documented the technical considerations and international experience in renewable energy connections and provided an analysis of the opportunity for connections in the existing network.
