The School of Engineering also has several courses which are elligible for the Postgraduate Tuition Fee Loan (PTFL) which is a loan system for Home/EU students. The courses elligible for this funding are: Bioelectronics, Biomechanics, Carbon Capture and Storage and Sustainable Energy Systems. The University of Edinburgh will offer 40 Master's scholarships for postgraduate study in any subject offered by the University for the 2012-2013 academic session. The scholarships will be awarded to students who are nationals of countries outwith the EU who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master's programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
