It is impossible to provide a definitive answer about your individual eligibility without viewing your completed application form, but for general guidance the following requirements should be considered as a guide.
Applications will be considered from students who hold, or expect to obtain, a first degree with a First or Upper Second Class Honours or equivalent. We do not require you to undertake an MSc course before entry to PhD study.
Potential students must also satisfy an English Language as all studies will be undertaken in English. The current standards are:
IELTS
You must obtain an overall score of 6.5 or above, with at least 6.0 in all four sections.
TOEFL
You must obtain an overall score of at least 630 (237 on the Computer Based TOEFL) with a score of at least 60 in all three sections (22 on CBT), and a score of at least 4.5 in the Test of Written English (or writing sections of the CBT).
You are welcome to contact our Research Institutes or academics to discuss potential projects however you must still complete an application form if you wish to apply.
If your questions relate to application procedures or fees then you should contact the Graduate School Office.
