Using the EUCS Printers

EUCS have a number of printers . which handle paper sizes which E&EE cannot.

To use the printers you will need an account on the EUCS General User Service (Holyrood). To get an account you will need to visit the E&EE Computing Office (A116). If you want the department to be billed for your prints then a seperate form needs to be processed after your EUCS account has been setup. Again please see the E&EE Computing staff about this.

The most popular printer is the A0 printer and this is used to produce posters for 2nd year phd students. For information on using this printer (vc23) please see the Web pages: http://www.ee.ed.ac.uk/~neural/posters/ .

Please note if you are using any of the EUCS printers and there is a problem with your printout or it doesn't print at all, then please speak to the EUCS Job Reception Staff as soon as possible and fill out a credit request at that time, so that these things get logged properly. If this procedure is not followed then it will NOT be possible to sort out billing problems etc.
