PhD Project:

Sensor and Model Integration for the Rapid Prediction of Concurrent Flow Flame Spread

This work demonstrates a methodology for achieving accurate, faster than real-time predictions of fire, in particular flame spread, through the combination of analytical models steered by sensor information. The work, under the umbrella of the FireGrid project, is intended as a first step to providing a tool to aid emergency response to fire.
