PhD Project:

Structures subjected fires following an earthquake

The main work is to add shell element with thermal mechanics into an existing software-OpenSees (The Open System for Earthquake Engineering Simulation). Based on the material properties depending on temperature and beam-column element, the shell element added will enable the OpenSees to conduct full 3D reinforced concrete frame analysis subjected fires following an earthquake.
