Network Printing and Scanning

Printing/Copying Services

There are three classes of printing:

1. School Unified Printing/Copying Service

• All printing is secure.

2. Auxilary School printers and details of Existing Queues etc

• This provides unattended printing and will be phased out in favour of (1).

3. Undergraduate Labs

• Unattended printing for taught students (undergraduate and MSc courses) through queues managed by EUCS. The printers are also accessible by all members of the School in the same manner as the auxilary printers as above (2).

    NB: All printing in the School is POSTSCRIPT only.

Network Scanning

A separate network scanning service allows users to scan documents to their network filestore (N: drive / login directory).
