Doctoral Training Centre (DTC)
in Proteomic Technologies
There are 20 PhD Studentships associated with RASOR, a unique research
programme to advance proteomics and its application in the life sciences
and biomedical research. This programme draws on interdisciplinary and
complementary skills and the aim is to design new proteomics methods and
equipment that will solve cutting edge research challenges. The DTC studentships are directly
associated with RASOR programme which involves the Universities of
Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow)
- see http://www.rasor.org.uk/ for
further details. The IMNS
is involved both RASOR and the DTC and should you wish to discuss potential
opportunities within the Scottish Microelectronics Centre related to this
scheme please contact Prof Anthony Walton Anthony (Anthony.Walton@ee.ed.ac.uk).
Please note that the
DTC will cover standard Research Council stipends and tuition fees for
domestic and EU students who have been ordinarily resident in the UK
for the past three years. Thus, while non-EU students are eligible for the
programme they would need to cover their own tuition fees and
maintenance. More details on
the DTC scheme are available from http://www.gla.ac.uk/rasor/phd.html
