Engineering fields, with a focus on interdisciplinary and emerging areas.
Environmental
Engineering
NDT and Construction
Management
Silos and
Granular Solids
Structures
BRE Centre for Fire Safety Engineering
Membrane Technology
These Research Groups all achieved the Internationally Recognized or higher categories in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, and all full time members
of staff contributed to that exercise.
Specific internationally recognised research includes silo and storage
structures, bulk and particulate materials, membrane technology, orthopaedic
